AS "PNB Banka" suspends financial transactions

We inform you that in accordance with the decision of the Finance and Capital Market Commission of Latvia, from 21:00 on August 15, 2019 AS "PNB Banka" will suspend financial transactions.

Dear Clients,

We need to inform you that in accordance with the decision of the Finance and Capital Market Commission of Latvia, from 21:00 on August 15, 2019 AS "PNB Banka" will suspend financial transactions.

It is not yet clear how events will develop further, as the shareholders and the board of AS "PNB Banka" believe that the bank is currently solvent and has good liquidity. The new shareholders of the bank also presented a plan for the introduction of additional capital in the amount of 146 million euros. Bank license is not revoked.

 

If the decision of the Finance and Capital Market Commission is not reviewed and yet the bank closes, see below for instructions on how to pick up the balances that were in the account (the issue of account balances should start no later than 7-8 days from the announcement date on the closure of the bank, the dates are being discussed on August 22 or 27, 2019. The balances can be collected at any time for 5 years):

 

Open an account for the same company in any other bank or in a payment system (money can be paid ONLY to the account and ONLY to the same company that was in PNB Banka).

If the company already had a backup account, then the task is simplified.

 

If the account was opened to an individual, then the procedure is the same

 

Have on hand in the original the following constituent documents of the company (to which the account was with PNB Banka):

  • Certificate of registration under the apostille
  • Charter under the Apostille
  • Actual power of attorney for the account manager at PNB Banka under the apostille
  • Certificate Good Standing under the apostille is not older than 1 year and preferably not older than 3-6 months (extract from the registry about the good condition of the company)
  • Trust declarations or share certificate (documents confirming the beneficiary of the company)
  • Originals of passports of nat and foreign proxy
  • Stamp of the company

 

Contact Citadele Banka by telephone +37167010000 (this bank has been instructed to make payments) and arrange an appointment with a bank consultant in Riga. Specify the date, time and address of the meeting.

You can send scanned copies of company documents in advance to be sure before the trip that everything is in order.

 

The trustee to fly to Riga at Citadele Bank on the agreed date, time and at the agreed address.

The procedure is quick, you need no more than 1 day.

 

Present the original passports and constituent documents of the company, apply for a refund of funds remaining at PNB Banka indicating the details for transfer.

IMPORTANT!!! The company - the recipient of funds should be the same one that had an account with PNB Banka

 

The money will be transferred on the same day in full (everything that was on the account with PNB Banka) minus a fee of 250 EUR for a payment.

IMPORTANT! Only amounts up to 100,000 EUR are returned

If you had more than 100,000 EUR in your account with PNB Banka, now only 100,000 EUR will be returned to the others in the manner and procedure agreed with the bank.
